Sometimes Hip Hop can move at a pace too frantic for even the most devoted fan to keep up with. Albums and mixtapes are released at breakneck speed, careers are made and broken with the swipe of a pen, and somewhere in between all the madness actual music (the quality of which vacillates between excellent and god awful) is being made. Twitter provides a nice summary of everything 140 characters at a time. And if you’re the type that would rather not be bothered with stepping into the Twitterverse to catch up on the latest in Hip Hop, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s tweets and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

You might want Azealia Banks at your side during the zombie apocalypse. The Harlem artist doesn’t back down from anything, ever. And she once again took shots at Action on Twitter, this time for, well, apologizing.
Kanye West Reveals His Collaboration With Paul McCartney Entitled “Only One”

Kanye tweeted this gorgeous photo of he and his daughter North as a presentation of his collaboration with Beatle’s legend Paul McCartney. The song is called “Only One,” and it features Kanye straining his thoughts through the ether, stream-of-consciousness style as McCartney plunks a few notes on the piano. The result is an almost supernatural convivence of he, his mother and Norths spirits. Well, if you let Kanye tell it, anyway.

One half of Run The Jewels producer El-P dropped a few warm words of thanks to both fans and critics who’ve loved and supported the Run The Jewels platform over the past few years. Of course, we’d only love to thank them, for making our lives filled with just slightly less bullshit.
Strangely, Several People Claim To Not Know Who Paul McCartney Is
I usually don't pay much attention to Kanye West, but it's cool he's launched this 'Paul McCartney' dude's career pic.twitter.com/1iaTOLRkr9

We’re not sure if this is a joke or not, but the kids did not have a good showing when they acted like they didn’t know who Paul McCartney was. We just need everyone to do better.

The uber talented Chicago emcee is also a hilarious Tweeter as he caught someone drawing a fairly terrible elephant on a flight he was on the other day. Just know that when Lupe Fiasco is behind you, your amateurish takes on zoology aren’t safe. Nope.
