According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, G-Unit unexpectedly reunites at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, Tyler, The Creator meets Larry King for a meeting of the minds, and French Montana poses with new girlfriend Khloe Kardashian . Check the rest of the week’s top Instagram posts below.

G-Unit Reunites At Summer Jam 2014

Just in time for the release of Animal Ambition, 50 Cent rounded up his old buddies, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, to surprise the crowd with a special G-Unit reunion and performance. The crew, sans Game, performed a few tracks for the audience during 50 Cent’s set and posed backstage for historical Instagram moment. Since their Summer Jam reunion, the foursome has released two freestyles (over HS87’s “Grindin My Whole Life” and Drake’s “0 to 100”), are set to perform in two shows in the month of June and will be releasing a group album in November.

50 Cent Shows Love To HS87

Speaking of HS87, producer Hit-Boy’s record label, 50 Cent not only jumped on their album single, “Grindin My Whole Life,” he also showed the artists love during a run-in encounter. Kent Money, member of the label, captioned their group picture with, “50 showed that love #PlugBidness.” A majority of the artists on Hit-Boy’s label come out of Southern California and have already teamed up to release a group album titled, We the Plug, which was released in late May. Hit-Boy, formerly with G.O.O.D. Music, has produced a variety of hits (hence the name) including the monster Watch The Throne hit, “Niggas In Paris.”

Game Responds To G-Unit Reunion

With all the G-Unit craze getting pushed in our faces, we might have missed a small detail about the reunion. Game, G-Unit’s West Coast representative, was missing in action at Summer Jam. It’s not news that Game and 50 Cent don’t think fondly of each other but then again, we thought that of 50 and Young Buck until everyone sang Kumbaya at the show on Sunday. Last year, Game put out a fruitless petition for G-Unit to reunite. Earlier this year, 50 Cent said he’ll “never work with Game.” Ouch. It’s all good. The ex-member lined up his lavish cars for a quick team flick. “Aye, I put my group back together too !!!” At least he’s riding in good company.

Chris Brown’s Welcome Home Party

Team Breezy may have shown the utmost love on the internet but it was Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche who was there to receive him with open arms and celebrate in-person. According to reports (and her collection of Instagrams), the singer’s girlfriend whipped up a surprise “Welcome Home” party for Brown, who was released from jail this week after serving 108 days. Guests of the party, which took place in a private residence, included Big Sean, T-Pain, Tyga, Amber Rose and more of Brown’s friends and family. The backyard boogie also served as a late 25th birthday party since he was in jail on his actual birthday, May 5th.

French Montana & Khloe Kardashian Official

The Kardashians (well, only two – Kim and Khloe) took a leave from sports and have made their way into the Hip Hop realm. As we all know, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot in a fairy tale wedding in Italy, and now, Khloe is pretty much confirmed to be dating a rapper. MMG affliate French Montana is the lucky emcee sitting next to her in the Instagram post above. Khloe seems to be slurping out of a bottle of some kind of expensive Rosé while French is clutching a weapon that is pointing in the direction of his new girl. Lookin’ like the ’14 Bonnie & Clyde backstage at Summer Jam.

Meeting Of The Minds: Tyler, The Creator & Larry King

“IM ON LARRY KING TODAY TALKING IDK WHERE IT IS THO,” said Tyler, The Creator in his caption for the picture of him tightly embracing Larry King. Tyler sat down with the 80-year-old host on Larry King Now and discussed offensive language (his favorite), gay rappers and having an absent father, all of which are considered heavy topics. It might be awkward for some to bring up those questions but the Odd Future member had no trouble answering. “A word is just a word,” Tyler replied when asked about offensive language. He also mentioned that he is “stoked” his father was absent from his life because he could have ended up going a “normal route” like many other people.
