Gillie Da Kid has ruffled some serious feathers after declaring Drake the winner of his beef with Kendrick Lamar following his latest diss song “The Heart Part 6”.

In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday (May 5) following the track’s release, the Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host continued to back Drizzy in the battle and even went as far as declaring him the victor over his fierce rival.

“It’s over with! Light-skinned n-ggas won. They took that shit, man. That shit over with, man. Kendrick can’t come back,” he said confidently.

“When he came back again [with ‘Not Like Us’], I said, ‘Oh, he barbecue baked, honey-dipped, glazed, basted, seasoned the light-skinned n-ggas’ and then Drake just… [laughs] It’s over with, the light-skinned n-ggas won.”

Gillie was slammed by many in the comments section for his hot take, with one person writing: “Gillie really losing all credibility.”

“You’re embarrassing Philly bruh,” another said, while someone else commented: “I’m bout to unfollow this ball hugger.”

Others accused the rapper turned podcaster of attempting to curry favor with Drake, including fellow Hip Hop media personality Ebro Darden who wrote: “Man I hope Gillie get that interview.”

Gillie had previously praised Kendrick Lamar’s fourth diss song “Not Like Us,” which found him calling Drake a “certified pedophile” and accusing him of sleeping with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend while he was in prison over a dance-friendly West Coast beat.

“That’s the type of shit I’m talking about,” Gillie said in an Instagram video. “You supposed to get disrespectful […] The dark-skinned n-ggas coming back. I heard you Kendrick. Good job, n-gga.”

However, he has also been critical of the Compton rapper, dismissing his initial diss track “Euphoria” as “corny.”

“I just heard that Kendrick Lamar diss. I fuck with Kendrick but that shit was corn on the cob, man,” he said following its release last week. “You know what’s crazy? The light-skinned n-ggas is winning, man. Three to nothing. Fucking Drake up two to nothing.”

Rick Ross, who has previously butted heads with Gillie, didn’t take kindly to his comments and wrote online: “Ho’s hurt haaaa.”

The Million Dollaz Worth of Game star also downplayed Kendrick’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which reignited his long-simmering feud with Drake.

Appearing on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast, he said: “Let’s just be honest: that’s not no diss record. ‘Fuck the big three, it’s just big me.’ If that’s a diss record, that’s corny.”

Gillie then quoted searing bars from classic battle records like 2Pac‘s “Hit ‘Em Up” and Nas‘ “Ether” before adding: “Those was diss records.”
