Eazy The Block Captain originally dissed Cassidy earlier this month on “Hi Cinnamon,” which also contained shots at battle rap rivals Hitman Holla and ARP.

“You wanna battle? Cool. Eazy/ It’s versus misery/ Put down your battle price or quickly be a memory/ What happened with that battle with Free? “The next thing I know, Eazy was on the floor, and it was a lot of commotion. And people were running out of the room. Remy came in, and her security came behind her. And then they closed the door and they were arguing.”

Remy Ma, however, disputed the claim, writing: “I’d like to apologize to everyone that was disappointed tonight because we couldn’t get 3 full rounds from all the opponents… I tried…and can y’all pleasee STOP with the Eazy & Pap LIES. John John played an audio clip of Eazy purportedly discussing his relationship with the “All the Way Up” hitmaker.

“Yo we was fucking with each other,” a person believed to be Eazy could be heard saying. “She was cheating on [inaudible] such and such, whatever happened […] I should have known, me being in fucking New York. Me being at Rem jawn, I know I’m fucking his bitch. I knew this n-gga should have been plotting on me because I would have been doing the same thing.”

In the comments section of the social media post, Eazy responded: “You really dropped an edited recording on me.” It is worth noting that even though he disputed the legitimacy of the post, he never denied that the voice in it was his.
